The team was in Misano under the scorching Italian sun for the second round of the Italian F4 championship. It wasn’t an easy weekend to say the least but good team spirit and excellent work from the team got us through it.

In Qualifying, Elia struggled to find pace, placing us in 28th and 26th position. Everything went better in the first race though, Elia had a good start and managed to get to grips with the car. With a good pace and some daring overtakes, he managed to gain 8 positions placing us in P20. The second race was trickier though, the tires were starting to struggle and Elia lost all his momentum in the last few laps. Race three was off to a good start, unfortunately, Elia broke his wing in the first lap and after having pitted for repairs found himself in some serious traffic. Lost for lost, and already in second to last position, Elia decided to let them all pass to be able to race his own race and to focus on his driving, we were happy with that decision as he was able to put in some very good lap times.

In 10 days we’ll be racing in Spa-Francorchamps, its a new track for both team and driver which means we are already working hard on the steep learning curve that lies ahead of us. We’re looking forward to the challenge and the opportunities!
